2018 Paso Robles Conference Schedule

It has been noted that one would require a passport, numerous flights and a few weeks of travel to even begin to experience the Rhône wine journey found throughout the Paso Robles Hospice du Rhône wine weekend!  With that said, we guarantee this is a weekend you will not want to miss. Come, tip your glass to the worldly Rhône producers at the largest international Rhône wine gathering on the planet! We hope you will join us for one heck of a Rhônely good time this coming April.


Online ticket sales have come to a close for the 2018 Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles. 

A limited number of Opening and Closing Tasting passes will be available at the door for $132 per ticket. Passes are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. These individual tickets will be for sale at our Event Check-in / Box Office on the following days and times:

Focus 22 will take a look at Rhône winegrowing regions be it large, small, underestimated or even forgotten. Created for Rhône the intrigued in all of us Focus 22 is sure to be one pivotal ride through the twenty-two Rhône varieties.  Scope out the Master Classes making the debute of the new seriesSeating is limited to 40 people per Master Class. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the Hospice du Rhône website and are not included with the weekend pass.

To satisfy both desires we have teamed up with superb Paso Robles restaurants to create five dynamic dining opportunities for the 2018 Rhône-Around Dinner Series - two on Thursday, April 26th and three of Friday, April 27th. These dinners will feature personalities from our international Rhône family so you know there will be a good time had by all. Check out all of the opportunities before they disappear.  These tickets are limited and must be purchased through the Hospice du Rhône website.  Questions are to be directed to Hospice du Rhône not the restaurant.

Get ready to get your Rosé on! This pink-inspired lunch pulls out all the stops not just with the international bottles of Rosé on the tables but with the food. And, we should probably throw in that the company throughout this afternoon is pretty darn good too. Come delight in a meal with this Rhône loving family to share stories, enjoy a few laughs and take in the vibrant fare at this lively afternoon Rosé affair. //full description//

Rhône wine producers from far and wide will be opening bottles from vintages past to commence this Rhône dominated weekend. Wine verticals will abound and dusty bottles pulled from cellars will prevail at the Opening Tasting. Large format bottles and age-worthy Rhône whites will also take the stage at this tasting. Come treat your palate to a world of Rhône wines from the 2012 vintage and older to explore the age-worthiness of wines crafted by all Rhône producing rock stars in attendance. Though each producer pours at both the Opening and Closing Tastings wineries have been asked to pour different wines at each event.

Raise your fork and your paddle while enjoying a Rhône inspired meal. This lunch offers a unique opportunity to bid on rare and one-of-a-kind auction lots generously donated by Hospice du Rhône friends and attending Rhône producers. Be on the look out for lots that have been curated specifically to raise funds for those affected by the Northern California wildfires this past October. Tantalizing your taste buds will be dishes thoughtfully created specifically for this afternoon. With a weekend reserved for a comprehensive journey through Rhône wines, the Closing Tasting is the perfect way to, well, close the weekend. At this tasting you will enjoy delectable Rhône wines from the 2012 vintage and newer. Winemakers and importers will share their current release wines along with futures and barrel samples. Come sip for yourself to taste the future of the wines crafted by the Rhône producers in attendance as we close this Rhône-dominated weekend. Though each producer pours at both the Opening and Closing Tastings wineries have been asked to pour different wines at each event.

Cap off the incredible weekend with a feast unlike anything you've ever delighted in at a Hospice du Rhône event. This final hoorah is pulling out all, and we mean, all the stops. Chef Spencer Johnston of Danior Kitchen has created a meal inspired by our collective love of Rhône wines and international cooking techniques. Chef Johnston and his team will be manning multiple fires and cooking stations that you will be able to view before dinner is served. (We promise, you do not want to miss this evening!) After dinner, try your hand at a Blackjack table or give the Craps table a whirl before dancing the night away as we say, "see you soon" to this one-of-a-kind Rhône family. //full description//
