Hospice du Rhône is thrilled to be partnering with long-time friends the girl & the fig for meals at the 2020 Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles.  For over twenty years, owner Sondra Bernstein, and managing partner and executive chef John Toulze have led the Sonoma mainstay in presenting 'country food with a French passion'.  The restaurant's producer-focused, international 'Rhône-Alone' winelist concentrates solely on Rhône varieties, emphasizing their food friendliness. 

Along with their passion for Rhône wines and French cuisine, there is something distinctly Californian to the girl & the fig.  Their seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, often grown in the fig garden, are simply but expertly prepared with heart and elegance.  And perhaps most of all, they approach food and wine with the same sense of 'serious fun' we strive to embody.

Live Auction Lunch

Paying homage to the cattle industry history of Paso Robles, the live auction lunch is led by Todd Ventura and crew - that means lots are coming in hot and fast!  The live auction during this meal prepared by the girl & the fig offers an opportunity to bid on rare lots generously donated by Rhône producers and Hospice du Rhône friends.

Farewell Dinner

With the meal led by the fig rig, accompanied by local food trucks offering a variety of choices, the Farewell Dinner promises to be a feast of vibrant cuisine and Rhône wines in the company of Rhône-lovers.  Live music from Mark Adams Band, along with other 'winemakers and somms who rock'.
