Online Ticket Sales to HdR 2010 will close Tuesday, April 27, 2010. A limited number of tickets to the Friday Rhône Rendezvous and Saturday Grand Tasting will be available at the Event Venue starting at 8:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010.
The 18th annual Rhône celebration will boast worldly Rhône producers, interactive elements to the Friday Rhône Rendezvous, cooking demonstrations to both the Friday and Saturday tastings and the addition of a Friday evening affair the Sommelier Soirée. The highly anticipated and always spirited annual bowling tournament at the Paso Bowl in Paso Robles brings out the athlete in all Rhône revelers! This is a “don’t miss” event as you never know who may be on your bowl squad and what Rhône wines will grace your glass. Be sure to sport your best bowling attire for this one-of-a-kind evening! One of the most comprehensive tastings of Rhône variety wines, this event boasts producers from throughout the world. It has been noted that to duplicate this tasting one would require a passport, numerous flights and a few weeks of travel. To complement the wines poured, artisan food purveyors will be located throughout the venue to share their wares. In addition to food and wine tables, nationally acclaimed chefs will show off their talents in the new demonstration kitchen.
