8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - Garden Breakfast & Check In
9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. - Somms Gone Wild!
Paul Lato (Paul Lato Wines), John Lancaster and Rob Perkins (Skylark), Richard Betts (Betts & Scholl) and Cris Cherry (Villa Creek Cellars) have easily tasted over 100,000 wines combined in their roles as buyers and sommeliers. When they decided to take the plunge and put their experience and philosophies to the test, unique and wonderful wines emerged.
10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - East Side West Side
Clarissa Nagy (Bonaccorsi Wine Company), and Greg Brewer (Melville and Brewer-Clifton) will give us a remarkable taste of the changing wine style moving across the Santa Ynez Valley and over to the western limits of Santa Rita Hills. Their approaches and ideas are as diverse as the terroirs. Divergent paths to very compelling wines.
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Rosé Lunch
Featuring food prepared by Chef Maegen Loring of The Park Restaurant of San Luis Obispo and Rhône wines from around the world
3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Friday Rhône Rendezvous
Rhône producers will pour reserve wines, barrel samples, older vintages or newly released wines alongside a number of artisan and specialty food producers. Café Musique will perform their unique arrangements of gypsy, tango, classical, swing and waltzes. Trade and media will be allowed into this tasting at 2:00 p.m.

8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Garden Breakfast & Check In
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Riedel - What's in your cabinet?
Georg Riedel will take us on a personally guided tour of the roll stemware design and shape can play in our wine experiences. Explore the effect of specifically crafted Riedel on Elderton Shiraz, Guigal St. Joseph, and Miner/Villard La Diligence. John Larchet, Patrick Will, Dave Miner and François Villard will discuss the wines, as Georg Riedel explains the science behind the dramatic effects of the various glasses. Take away four beautiful Riedel stems with you, including a stunning Sommeliers Hermitage stem, compliments of Riedel Crystal.
10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Beyond the Yellow Brick Road
Justin Smith (Saxum) and Sashi Moorman (Stolpman, Piedrassasi) will divulge the results of some thought provoking and very intriguing viticultural and enological experiments. This spirit of exploration combined with the unique willingness to share and discuss is both the essence of HdR and the force that has propelled Rhône varieties so far, so fast.
