With rainfall rare and the mistrals strong Costières de Nîmes is typically known for their red wines from gravel-filled soils. However, this southern Rhône region is an exception for White wines, a journey this seminar will embark on. White wines from Costières de Nîmes amount to 10% of their total wine production, and with only 23% of their whole production exported this seminar is offering a rare glimpse into this southern Rhône Region. The seminar will star Michel Gassier of Michel Gassier, Luc Baudet of Chateau Mas Neuf, François Collard of Château Mourgues du Grès and Diane De Puymorin of Château d’Or et de Gueules. With Jeb Dunnuck of The Wine Advocate as moderator.
