Each year, the highly anticipated Syrah Shoot-Out hosts a small gathering of winemakers who come together to blind-taste and rate Syrahs made by their peers. The 2010 Syrah Shoot-Out focused on the 2007 vintage with 41 Syrah submissions. After the blind tasting and spirited discussion over lunch, at Villa Creek in Paso Robles, the scores were tallied and the winner announced.
