When and where will the 2018 Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles wine event take place?

Are children allowed at the wine event?

No one under the age of 21 is permitted to any of the events at Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles 2018. This includes infants. This is a mandate of our ABC license. We appreciate you helping us follow the rules.

May I bring my pet?

The event venue and health department policy dictates no pets are allowed, with the exception of assistance dogs.

When may I purchase Event Passes for Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles?

Passes for the 2018 Paso Robles wine event will be available in the Fall of 2017. At this time we will also release the ticket prices.

When does the 2018 Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles wine event schedule release?

The 2018 schedule will be released in Fall 2017.

Are tasting tickets available at the door for the 2018 Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles wine event?

All weekend passes and meal tickets must be purchased in advance. A limited number of tickets for The Opening and The Closing tastings may be available at Event Check-in. We strongly encourage you to make your purchase in advance as passes are sold on a first-come, first served basis.

What do I receive with my tasting pass?

You will receivea trip around the world of Rhône in one building at the 2018 Hospice du Rhône Paso Robles wine event! Enjoy tipping your glass to Rhône winemakers from the world over and sampling sought after Rhône wines! As you enter the Tasting Hall you will receive a logo wine glass and an event guide. 

If I break my tasting glass, may I get another one?

We will do our very best to replace your broken glass but we normally do not have an overstock of stemware. Please be extremely careful with your glass at the tasting. Enjoy responsibly! 

May I purchase individual seminar tickets?

Yes! Individual seminar tickets are sold in very limited quantity and sell out quickly on a first-come, first-served basis. You may also attend the seminars by purchasing a Weekend Pass.

Will there be Hospice du Rhône Merchandise available for purchase?

Of course! Come on, now you are being silly! Limited quantities of collectible and sought after Hospice du Rhône gear will be available for sale in our Marketplace. Look for the goods during all the meals and inside the tasting hall. We promise, you won't want to miss the upcoming collection! We must share that these pieces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis so buy early and buy often. 

Do you offer wine trade a discount?

We do not offer a discount for wine trade members or a discount for staff members, our dogs or our best friends. However, with your purchase of a Weekend Pass or a ticket to The Opening and/or The Closing tastings you will receive one-hour early entry access. Please select the Trade option at checkout. At Event Check-in we will require trade credentials (such as a business card and ID) before allowing early tasting access.

 

Are there Designated Driver tickets?

We do not offer special priced tickets for designated drivers. The ticket price includes small bites throughout the event, while supplies last.

Is there parking at the event?

You know it! Parking is located in the main parking lot on Riverside Avenue across the street from the Paso Robles Event Center.

Is there a safe ride home from the tastings?

Yes! A shuttle from the tastings to nearby hotels and to downtown Paso Robles will be avaialble at the front entrance of the Paso Robles Event Center starting at 5:00 p.m. 

Uber and Lyft are also great options to ensure you receive a safe ride home.

What is your refund policy?

All purchases are final. Sorry, no refunds. 

The event will also take place rain or shine! Don't worry, we can provide you with a rain poncho should you need it but we'll all be inside most of the time.

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

Do I need to bring my printed pass confirmation with me to the event?

It is not mandatory that you bring your printed confirmation but it is always good to have on-hand.

What are your hotel recommendations?

We have many prefered hotel recommendations for your stay at the Paso Robles wine event. Please visit our "Visitors Page" for a handful of options, including driving directions.

May I purchase a bottle of wine to take home?

Unfortunatley, wine sales are not allowed at our event due to CA ABC rules.

Where is lost and found?

Lost and found is located at the Event Check-In Booth. To prove the lost item is yours, we will ask you three security questions prior to handing over your lost item. You know, we just have to be sure that you are who you say you are. 

Is first-aid provided on-site?

Absolutely! You, our guest, are very important to us! First-aid is available near the Event Check-In Booth, at the front entrance of the Paso Robles Event Center.

Hospice du Rhône reserves the right to refuse access to the wine event to anyone who appears intoxicated, under the influence, etc. Please enjoy the wines responsibly and plan ahead for a safe ride.
